Breaking News

Welcome to the Official Launch of Jabberjays.net

During the first Rebellion in Panem, the Capitol developed a muttation called the jabberjay. Bred to perfectly imitate human voices, the jabberjays spied on the rebels and brought back their plans. Eventually the rebels found out and began feeding false information back to the Capitol. The jabberjays were abandoned.

Left to themselves in the wild, the jabberjays eventually mated with mockingbirds and the mockingjay was born. And so, without the jabberjays, there would be no mockingjay.

Jabberjays.net is proud to announce the official opening of our website, the ultimate destination for Hunger Games fans around the world. Our outstanding and talented staff has been slaving away over the last five days readying the site for you. Here are some of the things you can expect from our great team:

The Latest News

We’ll bring you all the latest news we can find for all things about The Hunger Games including the fans, the movies, the actors, and more. If you come here wanting The Hunger Games, we’ll give you The Hunger Games.

From the United States and Canada to Europe and down under in Australia, the Jabberjays will work hard to pick up all the latest chatter in Panem and bring it all back to you, our loyal fans and readers. But unlike how the rebels used the jabberjays to relay false information back to the Capitol, we strive to provide you with only the most accurate and up-to-date information.

Reviews

The amazing thing about the Jabberjays.net staff is that many of us love to write! Some of us are just plain nutty over movies in general. We’ve got a lot of opinions and Jabberjays.net is the perfect place for us to share them. If you’re looking for the details on the latest Hunger Games merchandise, the movies, and books we think Hunger Games fans would like, we’ve got that covered.

Contests and Giveaways

Who doesn’t love free stuff? For our launch, we’re going to be hosting a couple of giveaways so that readers will have the chance to answer fun entry questions and win some cool stuff like DVDs and mockingjay pins. In the future, we will continue to host more of them so keep your eyes open!

JabberCast

While some people like to read about The Hunger Games, some people love to listen to real chatter about The Hunger Games. Your Jabberjays will spend time chattering away about our love for the series, the latest big news, and just have fun in general. We plan to invite people from the fandom on occasion so that you can get to know more and more fans just like you! JabberCast will launch sometime in March.

Forum

Jabberjays.net is very happy to announce our official affiliation with FanForum.com. Rather than starting a forum of our own, we encourage you to start an account with Fan Forum and join their vibrant community of Hunger Games forum users.

Editorials

If there’s one thing you can do endlessly, it’s discuss The Hunger Games. Whether it be rumors about Finnick Odair or discussions about what should and should not be cut from the films, we’ll be here to provide you with insights as well as a platform for discussing it with other fans. Editorials are also a great place to have heated, yet still enjoyable discussions about one of our greatest passions!

If you have a discussion you’d like us to have, feel free to email us at editorial@jabberjays.net.
