The official DVD/Blu-ray release of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is happening in just a few hours, and a few members of the cast will be participating in signings at Walmart stores across the country. To promote these events, the cast have made appearances on several local TV shows, and here we have some video of a couple of them.
Stephanie Leigh Schlund (Cashmere) and Lynn Cohen (Mags), who will be at the Walmart in Secaucus, NJ tonight, visited CBS New York’s The Couch and talked about everything from their training for the movie, trying on their wetsuits for the first time, Philip Seymour Hoffman’s passing, future projects, and more.
On the other side of the country, Willow Shields (Prim), who will be at the Walmart in Orange, CA, stopped by KTLA and talked about how her role has grown for the last two movies, working with Jennifer Lawrence and how amazing the Hunger Games fans are. The embed doesn’t seem to be working correctly, but you can go to KTLA’s website to watch the video.
UPDATE: Bruno Gunn (Brutus) also stopped by Chicago’s You and Me This Morning and Windy City Live, and spoke about the audition process for Catching Fire (and told a hilarious story about the day he found out he got the part!), the fans, working with such a talented cast, and his fitness regimen, among other things.
What did you think of these interviews? Will you be attending any of the meet & greets, or regular Walmart midnight release parties? Be sure to tell us in a comment and tweet pictures and details our way @HGJabberjays!
