Jeffrey Wright, our Beetee, will be doing a live Web chat with LA Times’ Envelope on Tuesday at 10 a.m. PDT. The chat will mainly be focusing on Jeffrey’s role as Dr. Valentin Narcisse on the TV hit “Boardwalk Empire,” but will also include a bit of “Hunger Games.”
We’ll also probably mix in a “Hunger Games” question or two, as Wright will be returning for the two-part “Mockingjay” conclusion to the mammoth series. Wright’s character, electronics expert Beetee Latier, survived the 75th Hunger Games — barely. Before accepting the part, Wright — who had appeared in the James Bond movies “Casino Royale” and “Quantum of Solace” — had to be convinced by his agent that the “Hunger Games” was actually bigger than Bond. We’re guessing he just might have a fuller idea of the series’ scope now.
If you have any questions for Jeffrey, be sure to tweet them to #asklatimes and make sure to tune in Tuesday!
