Lorde Records Original Song For ‘Mockingjay’ Credits

Lorde, who is the official curator for the soundtrack for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, has recorded an original song that will be played over the film’s end credits according to Billboard. Yesterday, the teenage singer was teasing hints to the song.

The lines teased in the photo have been confirmed as the opening lines to the song. The song is being described as moody, dark and powerful by the owner of the studio in which Lorde did the recording.

According to Billboard, the soundtrack will be released three days before the film’s release.
