AUDIO: Listen To Official VEVO Release of CHVRCHES ‘Mockingjay’ Song ‘Dead Air’

We previously reported on a live performance by CHVRCHES that was tentatively titled ‘Richard Pryor,’ but now the official VEVO channel for CHVRCHES has released the official audio for their song Dead Air, confirming that Richard Pryor is indeed the song from the soundtrack for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.

To the best of our knowledge, the lyrics:

Don’t ever believe what they say
There is a strength in enduring
They never speak for themselves
We are disappearing

You will be all that I seek
In a twisted life
I would live inside you
Words will be all that I keep
In an open space
They will live inside you

We hold onto an idea
And we’re fighting what we can’t see
We just hold onto an idea
We keep going ’til we can’t hear
Dead air

Hold onto an idea
And we’re fighting what we can’t see
We just hold onto an idea
We keep going ’til we can’t hear
Dead air

We are we a-are
We are all just dead air (x4)

This is a call to your arms
To take on mind over matter
Replacing fist over fist
We are disappearing
