Tributes in the United States woke up to a really cool surprise this morning, as Good Morning America aired an exclusive clip of Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson browsing through the Hunger Games Exhibition in New York City yesterday.
In the video above, you can see Jen and Josh as they go through the different stages of the exhibition together, playing with a few of the interactive displays and looking at all the props they used when filming the movies. (Jen especially urges everyone going to the Exhibition to pay close attention to Effie’s shoes, which she calls “torture contraptions” in commiseration to co-star Elizabeth Banks).
“I was really emotional… I didn’t expect that,” Jen comments. For his part, Josh tells us the Exhibition is “really, really cool. I want a membership.”
The video is definitely a must-watch for anyone who’s been missing Josh and Jen’s interaction in their lives (I know that little half-second of them on the train made my hyperactive fangirl heart clench), and if that’s not enough for you, the official Hunger Games instagram account posted a bunch of pictures of not only Josh and Jen, but also other cast members and director Francis Lawrence browsing through the Exhibition last night. You can check them out below:
If you haven’t yet seen jabberjay Grant’s photos of the Exibition, be sure to check them out because he pretty much took pictures of everything. (No, I’m not kidding, he did!). And stay tuned as we’ll have his full review and video up this afternoon at 2 pm ET. You’re going to love it!
