Liam Hemsworth describes the larger scope in wide shots of Panem. Jennifer Lawrence says the locations alone deserve to be seen in IMAX. Francis and Josh Hutcherson think the lizard mutt scene will be more immersive in IMAX. Nina Jacobson believes the film deserves to be seen in the wider format because it is thematically powerful and cinematically enormous. Francis thinks the larger scope also has an intimate impact in emotional scenes.
