Jennifer Lawrence wins Best Hero at the MTV Movie Awards for her performance as the iconic Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 is up for 3 Golden Popcorns and another nod for Jennifer Lawrence in Joy, MTV also commemorates the series' last time at the awards.

The 2014 MTV Movie Awards, took place yesterday and both Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson took home an award for Best Female Performance and Best Male Performance. Catching Fire received the Movie of the Year award.
