BREAKING: Gwendoline Christie From ‘Game of Thrones’ Replacing Lily Rabe As Lyme

This news just in, tributes! Gwendoline Christie, who some of you may know as Brienne of Tarth from HBO’s Game of Thrones, has replaced Lily Rabe in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay as Commander Lyme.

According to Deadline, Rabe was forced to drop out of Mockingjay after a scheduling conflict.

Lyme is described in the book as over six feet tall and heavily muscled, so Christie is definitely fitting for the part! Lyme is a former Hunger Games victor and the commander of the rebel forces in District 2.
