Natalie Dormer, who will play Cressida in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2, has been doing media rounds to promote the new season of her show Game of Thrones. For this purpose, she visited the set of Late Night with Seth Meyers, and during the interview she shared some details about filming Mockingjay and what it feels like to be part of yet another huge pop-culture phenomenon.
Among other things, Natalie talks about how running the London Marathon helped prepare her for the physicality of filming Mockingjay (wearing combat boots, carrying huge guns, and trying to keep up with Liam Hemsworth), and joked that her new haircut made her more aerodynamic for the marathon (Seth couldn’t resist wanting to touch it). It’s a really hilarious interview, definitely not to be missed! Warning: There are big spoilers for Game of Thrones in this interview, although I admit I personally adhere to Seth’s philosophy that “people gotta catch up if they want to be a part of civil society.” 😉
What do you think of this interview? Were you happy when Natalie was cast as Cressida? Are you looking forward to seeing her in the Mockingjay films? Sound off in the comments!
