‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ Wins Two Rembrandt Awards, Cast Reacts

The Rembrandt Awards are held yearly by Dutch magazine Veronica, honoring the best of Dutch cinema while also having categories for non-Dutch films. The 2014 winners were announced a few weeks ago, and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire walked away with two wins: Best Foreign Actress for Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, and Best Foreign Film. This is a pretty big deal for the movie, as it basically won the biggest non-Dutch award of the night: not best foreign action film, not best foreign sci-fi film, but best foreign film overall.

Veronica Magazine got to talk to the cast and director at Cannes, and you can see their reactions above! Bonus points to all the boys for being adorable; between Josh being “glappy,” Sam trying to speak Dutch and Donald Sutherland admitting that he’s biased, I don’t know who made me smile more.

We’re glappy (:P) to see Catching Fire is still making waves! What do you think of this honor? Tell us in a comment.
