Here’s the sad news we all knew were coming but refused to consciously think about: filming of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay movies (and as such, the entire Hunger Games film series) is coming to an end tomorrow. Oh, nooooooo! D’:
Producer Nina Jacobson tweeted just a few minutes ago letting us know that today, Jeffrey Wright has finished filming his scenes as Beetee, and expressing her sadness that the end of filming is in sight.
Wrapped the unforgettable @jfreewright tonight. I can’t believe tomorrow is our last day.

Jeffrey himself also tweeted a farewell to his character:
Beetee’s work is done. ⚡️⚡️⚡️

How sad is this? Of course, we still have the promotional period for both Mockingjay movies to look forward to and get to see more of our beloved cast, but still! We can only hope they’ll do something special tomorrow. If this is hard for all of us, I can’t imagine how hard this must be for them!
And okay, before I make myself sadder than I already am, I’ll pass the mic on to you all. Tell us what you’re feeling about this! What are you most looking forward to now that the movies are filmed in their entirety? What will you miss the most from the filming periods? Feel free to spill the remains of your broken heart to us in a comment, we can all commiserate together!
