Production for the ‘Hunger Games’ Franchise Officially Wraps in Atlanta

Here it is, guys… the end is here. Just a few minutes ago, director Francis Lawrence tweeted that filming for the Mockingjay Part 2 epilogue, which has been taking place these past few days in Atlanta, is officially done. This is the last bit of filming they had left to do for the last movie. Jennifer Lawrence will never officially be Katniss again. Josh Hutcherson will never officially be Peeta again.

Please excuse me for a moment while I go cry into a pillow. D’:

UPDATE: A few minutes later, producer Nina Jacobson tweeted her two cents on it:

Here at Jabberjays we would like to take a minute to thank Francis, Nina, and the entire cast and crew who have worked in all these four films, for bringing something we love so much to life in the best way possible. They’ve given us fans everything we needed, and then some. Of course, we still have the marketing for Mockingjay Part 2, the movie itself and later on the DVD release so it’s not like everything is over today, but this is still a very bittersweet moment for all of us, making us both eager for the movie and sad at the same time.

How does Francis’ tweet make you feel? Feel free to vent out all your emotions in a comment.
